Rocks in my head...

Hey guys.

I am still doing the whole "rock thing". I now have some pretty decent knowledge of how crystal healing works, why it works, and which crystal to use for which ailment. I have already begun handing out rocks. Most everybody is very receptive. Rocks are fun. They are shiny, beautifully colored, and simple. My boys all have their own collections. I find Hunt's in the washing machine regularly where he has accidentally left it in his pocket. Kan shares mine with me. I invariably find them all over the place. He is always up for digging through the pretty little treasures. Although Grannies preacher apparently thinks Hindu's worship rocks... I was intrigued so I went to see what that was all about...Funny, I can't find a single thing about rock worshipping in ANY religion- although I did actually find out that Hinduism is known as one of the most tolerant religions:
Hinduism has a
deserved reputation of being highly tolerant of other religions. Hindus have a
saying: "Ekam Sataha Vipraha Bahudha Vadanti," which may be translated: "The
truth is One, but different Sages call it by Different Names"
Back to the point-Now, I do not see rocks as part of my "religion" (that would be silly since I don't have one). It has nothing to do with my faith either. For me it is more along the lines of belief in the power of the universe. I do believe that these minerals from the Earth can carry healing properties. Just as we know plants to be useful in medicines to soothe and heal- so do I believe minerals in the form of rocks can do the same thing. I actually read how some "rocks" have LITHIUM in them (lithium quartz). Lithium is actually a naturally occurring mineral in the Earth. By wearing it against your skin you can actually benefit from the absorption of this very natural Lithium and it may even be able to help aid in healing depression. WOW! If you would like to try this out you can shop here for a lovely pendant http://yhst-61760516646012.stores.yahoo.net/liquwiwr.html Remember that it should be worn against the skin. Also, for you guys who are too serious for such nonsense remember how the mind is a powerful tool and if you believe you will heal- you probably will. Placebo's prove this time and time again. Perhaps you should try to be a bit more mystic.:-)

Here are a few other recommendations I have for you guys out there who might need a little healing:

Blood Clots are benefited by Amethyst (Beck, that is the purple rock I gave you. Carry it in your pocket!

PMS responds well to Opal and Moonstone- yes, I am looking into getting me a couple of those.

Fertility: Carnelian, Jade, Moonstone (carry it in your pocket, wear a charm, and even place one under your pillow or beside your bed.

Got a cold or Allergies? Try Aquamarine.

High Blood pressure: Amethyst or Bloodstone. (Wear or carry continuously and keep one beside or under bed.)

Need to lose some pounds? Green Tourmaline

Moody child? Rose Quartz and this also helps with night terrors. Put in pocket, wear charm, and for night issues place under pillow or bed. These are great for kids... they can be clipped onto zippers ect. Clip on Crystals Girls will love them because they are pretty too!

Clear Quartz is a good all around stone. It is what Hunt carries all the time. We all have one and they are scattered about the house. They help to clear and cleanse negative energy and are supposed to be protective. Who couldn't use that?

If anyone is intrigued and would like a recommendation for some other ailment please leave the question in the comments... I would be glad to see if I can help. Here is a really fun website for buying and learning:http://crystal-cure.com/gemstones.html
